- Roger Kenneth Lee Jr. (b. March 23, 1929 - d. May 12, 2010) was the son of Roger Kenneth Lee Sr. and Florence (Little) Lee of Detroit, Michigan. Lee graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and MIT. He lived in Watertown, Massachusetts and worked as an engineer for the Charlestown Navy Yard and then for Itek Corp, developing cameras suitable for high altitude reconnaissance. He also helped develop large telescope mirrors for astronomical observatories, including the Hubble space telescope. Lee's primary hobby was the documenting and the restoration of antique harpsichords, and he was a member of the Cambridge Society for Early Music and The American Musical Instrument Society. Lee married Angelica Bodky on June 10, 1955, and they had two sons, Matthew and Nathaniel. Angelica was the daughter of Erwin Bodky, a prominent proponent of early music in the United States, founding the Music Department at Brandeis University and the Cambridge Society for Early Music.
